Project I
Victor de Rut is a flamenco fusion guitarist based in Norway, with a strong foundation in flamenco and a personal style shaped by jazz, fusion and Balkan rhythms. Alongside traditional flamenco, he explores his own concept, Balkan Flamenco, where Spanish guitar expression meets the energy and colors of Balkan music. The project has been performed across the Balkan region, Norway, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Indonesia, and has received an outstanding response for its originality, intensity and distinctive sound.
Project II
Victor de Rut's One Man Band project brings the sound of a complete band to the stage through live looping and real-time musicianship. Using guitar, bass lines, percussion, effects and vocals, he builds each song layer by layer in front of the audience, creating a dynamic and engaging live performance with the energy of a full ensemble. The project has been performed extensively across Norway at a wide range of events, from intimate private gatherings to restaurants, hotels, festivals and cultural stages.

About
Victor de Rut is a Macedonian guitarist based in Norway.
With 15 years of classical guitar education and training, including multiple first-place awards at international classical guitar competitions, he developed a strong technical and musical foundation early on. After completing his classical path, he began exploring flamenco, jazz, gypsy jazz, bossa nova, ethno, world music — each genre bringing him closer to developing his own musical language.
That journey led to Balkan Flamenco, an original concept that brings together flamenco technique, Balkan rhythms and jazz harmony into a single cohesive sound. The project reflects the core of his artistic identity and continues to shape his work as both a composer and producer.
Since moving to Norway in 2018, he has also embraced live looping as a creative tool, developing it into a full One Man Band format. On stage, he builds complete arrangements in real time — layering guitar, bass, percussion, effects and vocals — delivering the energy of a full ensemble as a solo performer.
Victor has performed across Norway and internationally, with appearances in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Indonesia and the Balkan region. Whether in an intimate acoustic setting or a high-energy stage performance, his music is always shaped around the moment, the venue and the audience.
